It all started at UC Berkeley, where our founder, a student closely connected to our digitized world as a Data Science major, noticed a troubling trend: everyone was glued to their phones. Friends, classmates, even strangers were endlessly scrolling through social media, losing precious hours every day. The problem was clear, but nobody seemed ready to tackle it. That's where the idea for Present Generation came from.

Why We Exist

We formed Present Generation because we saw a need for real change. Our founder's understanding of the technology behind these addictive platforms inspired us to help others see the impact on their lives. We want to raise awareness about how pervasive phone addiction has become and emphasize the importance of digital rights and protections.

Our Mission

Our mission is straightforward: educate people about the harms of phone addiction and advocate for better digital practices and policies. We're here to help everyone understand the psychological effects of their digital habits and to encourage changes at both personal and legislative levels.

What's Next

Looking forward, we're excited about expanding our efforts. We plan to engage with local communities, set up student ambassador programs, and establish clubs in high schools to spread our message. We're passionate about what we do and are eager to make a lasting impact.
